Meet my wonderful friend Courtney and her husband-to-be James. I met Courtney the summer of 2008 when I was a rising junior and she a rising sophomore at Meredith for the first ever FuHsing program where we were both residential counselors. We served as resident assistants on campus the following year and then in the summer of 2009 we returned to FuHsing just days after both of us had studied abroad, she in Iceland and I in Costa Rica. This girl is the sweetest, and I absolutely love her. She just finished her student teaching in middle grades Language Arts (she was awesome) and will be graduating in May and marrying her best friend (and longtime boyfriend) James. After knowing Courtney for almost three years and hearing lots about James, it was so nice to finally meet him. They are absolutely perfect for each other and seriously have the most fun together, no matter where they are.
We headed to Durham for our photo session where they both attended Science and Math, and perfectly (and a bit symbolically ) in the middle of where they currently go to school, he at UNC-CH and she at Meredith. I had so much fun with them and am so thankful to have had the chance to take some photos for them. Congratulations Courtney and James!
|I suggested they “throw leaves”, and in my head I was thinking into the air, but they thought throwing them at each other would be a better idea. It was pretty hilarious.|
