I was in Alicante.
That is so unbelievably crazy. I’ve been reading Kerianne and Kaley’s blogs and its so crazy to think they are there right now…riding the número 24 to the university, making new friends, and figuring out what Spain is in God’s huge plan.
It seems like such a short time ago– but a whole year. Wow.
Part of me misses the adventure..
the other part is glad to be here where I can call my mom for free, where Marshall is five minutes away and where I don’t have to wonder what is in the food I’m about to eat.
I’m blessed. So blessed.
Alicante changed my life forever…
and life is good. I love my Spanish and Education classes which makes me think that maybe (just maybe) for the first time I’m actually doing what I’m SUPPOSED to, instead of what I think I’m supposed to. Chorale is intense and incredibly fun. Even though I am not excited about the next two months and the fact that I will have approximately .2 hours of free time a week, I’m looking forward to this small ensemble “lab” portion, I really think it will help me musically…I haven’t really been focusing on music for the past year or so and my ear is waaaay out of practice.
Cornhuskin’ is in exactly two months. Wow.
Ring dinner is 1 month and 17 days away. Double wow.
College is going by fast, but I have to say, I’m not exactly depressed to see it go.
So they say it gets better with time, and I’m looking forward to that.
